Well as you might have guessed, this section gives some background info about me. I am currently an undergrad student at Shippensburg University in Shippensburg PA. I am majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS) and plan on minoring in Computer science. I am fascinated with computers. I love working with them, using them, fixing them, building them, and just about anything else dealing with them. I am very interested in the growth of technology and how we can use it in our everyday lives. However, my main interest lies in Information Security. Using my skills to keep others safe from online threats really intrigues me and I plan to make a career out of it. I am working on the CompTIA exams to sharpen my skills and knowledge on computers and to help get to where I want to be.

I am a part of the MIS club at Shippensburg, play club volleyball, and I also play drums in the marching band. I plan on working at the Student Technology Help Desk. During the summer, I am a lifeguard at my local community pool. I have been in Cub/Boy Scouts for 14 years and I have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I have gone on three high adventure trips with my scout troop that include canoeing in the lakes of Canada, backpacking in the mountains of New Mexico, and various water related activities in the Florida Keys. Because I have been a part of these three trips, I received the Triple Crown High Adventure Award in 2009. I enjoy being outside and camping in the wilderness. I am extremely hard working and easy going. I love meeting new people and my communication skills are excellent.
